Networking Call DEMO!

This video is between Sara Schreiber and Nicole Ivelevitch* and was created for training purposes, teaching you how to have genuine networking calls.

Some pointers:

  • Ask questions about the other person first, and ask them follow up questions, highlighting how their services are valuable and thinking seriously about who you could refer to their practice.

  • Make it as conversational as possible and try to relate about real life stuff. You'll see we related to each other around having kids of our own (it was a bit exaggerated here, I will admit - you don't need to go over the top in reaction the way I did lol)

  • At the end talk about follow ups to the call, sending each other resources you talked about, groups you're running, next steps after your call

  • And then actually send them a follow up email with that information!

*Nicole, who is the other therapist in this video, is the practice manager at Sara's group practice, Collaborative Minds Psychotherapy LLC, and sees individual clients and runs a group at the practice as well. Although this video was recorded for training purposes, everything discussed in the video is actually true. You can learn more about their practice by visiting www.collaborativeminds.net
